For starters, the original owner ordered the factory to reinforce the hull with Kevlar. Instead of life-lines, for greater safety it has railings like a motoryacht. The original owner had the hulls extended 3 feet, for a total LOA of 54 feet, offering a longer waterline for performance and stability. This is an owner's version, but with added cabinetry in the owner's hull, instead of the settee that no one uses. The architects Marc Van Peteghem and Vincent Lauriot Prevost fitted the Lagoon 500 with the latest developments in naval architecture. Its speed and seaworthiness are outstanding.
