From South Africa to Charleston
Born and raised in South Africa, Glen developed a love of adventure and travel early. An intensive five-week sailing course on the east coast set a new direction.
He bought a sailboat, headed west, and spent approximately two years cruising. A Trans-Atlantic crossing eventually brought him and his wife to Charleston, South Carolina.
Over approximately 27 years in Charleston, sailing became a broad professional marine career: deliveries, towing, instruction, charters, dealer representation, and yacht brokerage.
